Online Raffle – Calla Narl

“Calla Narl”
Ink on Pine
455mm x 290mm

Welcome to my 2nd online raffle! I’m really excited about this one!

I have been going through some personal issues lately, really who doesn’t?! One of my major fears is being able to truly trust myself. I find it hard to draw honestly without being in a good mindset. So I haven’t been drawing much…

In a dream I had, a yellow and peach coloured flower morphed into a lizard, then morphed into a leopard but retained the colours. She was mostly yellow with peachy areas here and there. She came up to me and licked my hands, played with me and even let me ride her! But I quickly got off because I thought she couldn’t support my weight. It wasn’t until later when I woke up that I realised she was Narl! And she changed! She wasn’t just black anymore like how I previously felt her.

I hope you like “Calla Narl” enough to want to support me by buying tickets. Any person from around the world can buy tickets which are only $5 each, if you buy 5 tickets or more, I will send you a badge and magnet of my artwork for free!

If you don’t want to do it online, you can visit The Infinite Everything at Parramatta! You can also see Calla Narl in person!

We are located at Shop 16, The Connection Arcade, 162-172 Church Street, Parramatta.

And we are open
Tuesday 10am – 5pm
Thursday 10am – 6pm
Friday 10am – 5pm
Saturday 10am – 4pm

I will draw the winner on Saturday 3 November and post it up the next day. Thank you for reading, I hope you win!

7 June 2012

Feeling very lost, still don’t know what my next project should be…
I put so much pressure on myself,  maybe to cater to what I think people expect of me. That’s so stupid! I hate doing that to myself.

I had to sit down and draw my feelings. My feelings…don’t know what they look like. How do I express myself through my art? I don’t know…honestly I don’t put myself out there as much as I could. I suppose I can figure that out.

7 June 2012, I sat in my chair and drew.
